A 2TB 2.5″/laptop hard drive?!

Just a quick post for anyone that’s ever wanted the largest capacity 2.5″/9.5mm hard drive for their laptop or small-form-factor system.

Look for the Seagate Backup Plus Slim 2TB (STDR2000102)

If you don’t mind voiding the warranty, the drive inside is a Seagate Momentus ST2000LM003/Samsung Spinpoint M9T, 2TB, 2.5″ 5400RPM with standard SATA data and power connectors.

      Sadly I’m in California so Amazon charges sales tax here now. I did luck out and get one from tigerdirect for $89 (after a $10 coupon) though.
